Ok, so it has taken ALOT longer than what I previously thought it would, but here it is at last… THE GO FOR SOULS EVANGELISM MANUAL.

The Salvation Army has a rich tradition of evangelism. History tells us of the greats doing amazingly bold and innovative things to get the message of Jesus Christ across.

From William Booth who used modern technology and a fiery preaching style, to Elijah Cadman who used media to advertise and had a healing ministry, to the hundreds of every day soldiers who somehow lead the masses to the Lord, The Salvation Army has always been able to preach the gospel well.

The Salvation Army was a group of men and women, boys and girls who were preaching the gospel to all creation and seeing amazing amounts of people convert to Christianity. They did not stay in buildings, but they left the Hall and took to the streets, pubs and brothels. Evangelism was who they were.

However in recent years the term “evangelism” has struck fear in the minds and hearts of Salvationists. It is something that “only the gifted” do. For the rest of us it freaks us out and so we are more than willing to allow others to do it for us.

The devil has sucked in The Salvation Army. It is time for a return to gospel preaching. Jesus has commanded that we Christians preach the gospel to all creation, to ignore this is to sin and break the heart of God leaving thousands to drift into a fiery hell.

This manual is a teaching tool that will demonstrate how simple evangelism really is. This is evangelism for any Christian. It is a guide. However, reading is not enough. This requires action. Take this guide, read it, study it, make it your own, but then act upon it! And if you do, I guarantee that you will begin to see the masses turn to Christ!
